No green light on Veloso execution Yasay says

Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay Jr. on Monday denied reports that President Rodrigo Duterte has given a "green light" to the execution of Filipino Mary Jane Veloso in Indonesia.
Yasay made the statement after reading a report from the Jakarta Post with a headline that read "Duterte has given green light for Mary Jane's execution."
"Yasay clarified further that never did Duterte give the green light to the execution of Veloso other than to tell the Indonesian President that he respects their judicial processes and will accept whatever the final decision they will arrive at regarding her case," the Department of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
The Foreign Affairs chief stressed that the execution of Veloso has been indefinitely deferred.
According to the report, Veloso was excluded indefinitely from the list of the third round of executions prepared by the Attorney General's Office in April.
On April 2015, Veloso was granted a last-minute reprieve following the surrender of her alleged boss in the recruiters in the Philippines.
Veloso was sentenced to death by an Indonesia court in 2010 for drug trafficking.
